A massive explosion has occurred late Thursday evening at a junction leading to the house of Ibrahim Hassan Dankwanbo, governor of Gombe State.
According to a security source, the explosion destroyed the Amoured Personnel Carrier (APC) parked at the junction by security personnels guarding the junction. The cause of the explosion is yet on known and no group has claimed responsibility yet.
The number of casualties is yet to be ascertained, meanwhile the area has been cordoned off by the Police.
